Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish (tilapia, mahi-mahi, cod) Choose a mild white fish that holds up well.
  • 8 pieces taco tortillas Corn or flour tortillas can be used.
  • 1 cup cabbage (for slaw) Shredded.
  • 1/2 cup cilantro Chopped.
  • 1 unit lime For juice.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil Optional for seasoning the fish.

Preparation

  • Rinse and pat the fish dry. Cut it into strips, about 1 to 2 inches wide.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss the fish in the mixture until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the fish strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and flaky, flipping them halfway through.

Assembly

  • While the fish is cooking, shred the cabbage and chop the cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice for flavor.
  • Warm the taco tortillas in a skillet. Fill each tortilla with air-fried fish, a generous scoop of cabbage slaw, and cilantro.
  • Drizzle additional lime juice over the tacos and enjoy!

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer for best results. Consider marinating the fish for added flavor.
