Ingredients

For the Salmon Bites

  • 1 pound fresh salmon, skinless and boneless Ensure freshness for the best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: paprika for added flavor

For the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 squeeze Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Zest of 1 lemon For an additional citrus kick.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
  • In a mixing bowl, gently toss the salmon bites with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. If desired, add paprika for extra flavor.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for doneness; salmon should flake easily with a fork.

Sauce Preparation

  • While the salmon cooks, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and zest. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Serving

  • Drizzle the lemon garlic butter sauce over the salmon bites, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy!

Notes

Quality matters when choosing salmon. Air fryers work best when not overcrowded; cook in batches if necessary. Consider variations like teriyaki glaze or herb-infused olive oil.
