  • 3 –4 fresh apples Honeycrisp, Fuji, Gala, or Granny Smith
  • 1 –2 tbsp lemon juice to prevent browning
  • Sauces & Flavor Base
  • ½ cup peanut butter or almond/sunflower butter
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips semi-sweet, dark, or mini
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce optional
  • Toppings Choose Any
  • ¼ cup granola
  • 2 tbsp mini marshmallows
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts peanuts, almonds, pecans
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Slice the Apples
  • Wash and thinly slice apples (about ¼-inch thick). Toss gently with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Arrange
  • Spread apple slices in a single layer on a large platter. Light overlapping is fine.
  • Warm Sauces
  • Microwave nut butter for 15–20 seconds, stirring until smooth and drizzle-ready.
  • Assemble the Nachos
  • Drizzle nut butter evenly over apples
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips while nut butter is warm
  • Drizzle caramel sauce lightly
  • Add granola, nuts, coconut, or marshmallows
  • Serve
  • Enjoy immediately, or chill 5 minutes to help toppings set.

Notes

  • Thin apple slices are easier to eat and hold toppings better.
  • Warm sauces = smooth drizzle, not clumps.
  • Use less sauce than you think—balance is key.
  • Best texture is achieved when served fresh.
