- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar white, brown, or mix
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg optional
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Optional: chopped walnuts raisins, chocolate chips, or dried cranberries
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
In a bowl, whisk together applesauce, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
