Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Stir until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Carefully fold in the blueberries and white chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing it to create an even layer.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice into squares.

Notes

You can use frozen blueberries in a pinch; just fold them in while still frozen. For a fudgier result, bake for a shorter time.
