Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (whey, plant-based, or your preferred type)
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the oats, protein powder, almond flour, baking powder, and salt until well incorporated.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the honey or maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until everything is well mixed. You should have a sticky dough that holds together.
  • Using a spoon or your hands, form the dough into small biscuit shapes and place them on a lined baking tray.
  • Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  • Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before enjoying.

Notes

Don't overmix the dough to avoid dense biscuits. Store biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage. Customize with ingredients like cocoa powder, cinnamon, or fruit.
