Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon Look for fresh, wild-caught salmon when possible.
  • 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish chopped cilantro

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the broiler to high.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the Thai sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and minced garlic to prepare the marinade.
  • Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Brush half of the marinade over the fillets.

Cooking

  • Broil the salmon for 6-8 minutes, or until it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and brush the remaining glaze over the cooked fillets.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.

Notes

For best results, marinate the salmon for at least 15 minutes before cooking. Adjust the sweetness or spice level of the glaze according to your preference.
