These campfire cones are a fun, easy, and customizable dessert made with waffle cones filled with marshmallows, chocolate, and your favorite sweet toppings. Perfect for camping, backyard fire pits, or oven baking, this mess-free treat is a kid-friendly alternative to s’mores and ready in minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 waffle cones or sugar cones
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • ½ cup sliced strawberries or bananas
  • ½ cup crushed cookies or graham crackers
  • Optional: peanut butter chips caramel bits, white chocolate
  • Aluminum foil
  • Optional: butter

Instructions
 

  • Set up fillings and gently open the tops of the cones.
  • Fill each cone with layers of marshmallows, chocolate, fruit, and toppings.
  • Wrap each cone tightly in aluminum foil.
  • Place near campfire coals and heat for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Alternatively, bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for 1–2 minutes.
  • Carefully unwrap and serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not overfill cones to ensure even melting.
  • Keep cones away from direct flames to avoid burning.
  • Wrap tightly in foil to trap heat.
  • Best enjoyed fresh for gooey texture.
