Ingredients
  

  • 2 –3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar or brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter melted or oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • Optional Add-Ins:
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a baking pan.
  • Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Add melted butter (or oil), sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • Stir in flour and baking soda until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and any optional add-ins.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for best flavor and moisture.
  • Do not overmix the batter to keep bars soft.
  • Slightly underbake for extra moist texture.
  • Store at room temperature for 2–3 days or refrigerate up to 1 week.
  • Freeze up to 3 months for longer storage.
