- 1 pound fresh strawberries rinsed, dried, and hulled
- Wooden or bamboo skewers short skewers work best

- 1½ –2 cups chocolate chips or chopped chocolate semi-sweet, dark, or milk
- 1 –2 teaspoons coconut oil or butter optional, for smoother chocolate

- Extra melted chocolate for drizzling
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Thread 3–5 strawberries onto each skewer, leaving space between berries.
Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. Stir in coconut oil or butter if using.
Hold each kabob over the bowl and spoon or drizzle melted chocolate over the strawberries, turning to coat evenly.
Place coated kabobs on prepared baking sheet. Add toppings while chocolate is still wet.
Let set at room temperature or refrigerate 10–15 minutes, until chocolate is firm.
Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
