Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
  • Add brown sugar or honey and mix until fully dissolved.
  • Stir in minced garlic and ginger.
  • In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry.
  • Slowly whisk the cornstarch slurry into your sauce mixture.
  • Taste and adjust flavors as needed.

Notes

Make larger batches and store in the fridge for up to a week. Add sauce at the end of cooking to preserve flavors. Experiment with herbs and spices.
