These French Dip Sliders are warm, cheesy, and packed with tender roast beef on soft slider rolls. Brushed with savory garlic butter and served with rich au jus for dipping, this easy baked slider recipe is perfect for parties, game day, or quick family dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • Sliders:
  • 12 slider rolls Hawaiian rolls work well
  • 1 pound thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • 6 –8 slices provolone cheese
  • ½ cup caramelized onions optional
  • Butter Topping:
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Au Jus:
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 2 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Prep
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Slice slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
  • Assemble Sliders
  • Place bottom half of rolls in baking dish.
  • Layer half of the provolone cheese evenly.
  • Add roast beef in an even layer.
  • Add caramelized onions if using.
  • Top with remaining cheese.
  • Place top half of rolls over the filling.
  • Add Butter Topping
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley.
  • Brush or pour evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  • Bake
  • Cover loosely with foil.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake an additional 5–8 minutes, until tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Prepare Au Jus
  • While sliders bake, combine au jus mix and water in a saucepan.
  • Bring to a simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Serve warm for dipping.
  • Serve
  • Slice into individual sliders.
  • Serve immediately with warm au jus.

Notes

  • Keep rolls connected while baking for easier assembly.
  • Cover with foil first to prevent over-browning.
  • Avoid overbaking to keep beef tender.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat covered in a 300°F oven for 10–15 minutes.
  • Can be assembled up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerated before baking.
