Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices thick bread sourdough or Texas toast
  • 2 –3 tbsp butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley optional
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese mozzarella, cheddar, or mix
  • Optional:
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise for crispier crust
  • Red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, and salt.
  • Spread garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  • Place cheese between slices with buttered sides facing outward.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Cook sandwich for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Press gently with a spatula and flip carefully.
  • Cook until cheese is fully melted.
  • Remove, slice, and serve hot.

  • Combine two cheeses for best flavor and texture.
