Preparation

  • Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and slice them into thin rounds or ribbons.
  • In a bowl, combine the sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  • Add the sliced cucumbers to the dressing and gently toss until well-coated.
  • Let the salad sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle fresh dill on top.

Notes

For best results, use unwaxed cucumbers and chill the salad for enhanced flavor. You can also experiment with additional ingredients such as red onions or cherry tomatoes.
