Ingredients
  

For the Roll-Ups

  • 4 slices slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or gluten-free) Choose your preferred type of bread.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite mix) Feel free to mix different types of cheese.
  • 2 tablespoons butter For toasting the roll-ups.

Preparation

  • Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin to create a perfect canvas for your fillings.
  • Place a generous amount of shredded cheese on one edge of each slice. Add any extra ingredients you desire.
  • Carefully roll the bread up tightly, starting from the edge where the cheese is placed. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.

Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt one tablespoon of butter.
  • Place the roll-ups seam side down in the hot pan and toast for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Once nicely toasted, remove from the pan, let cool for a minute, and slice in half for presentation.

Notes

Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup or mustard, and consider pairing with a fresh salad or tomato soup for an excellent meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
