  • 250 grams Halloumi cheese Cut into cubes
  • 200 grams Cherry tomatoes Bursting with sweetness
  • 1 medium Zucchini Chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper Chopped for sweetness and crunch
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For cooking and flavor enhancement
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning

Preparation

  • Cut the halloumi into cubes and chop the vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  • Alternate halloumi and the vegetables on your skewers, mixing and matching as preferred.
  • Brush the skewers lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. You can also marinate them in your favorite herbs for added flavor.

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high and make sure it’s well-oiled to prevent sticking.
  • Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the halloumi is golden brown and the vegetables are tender.
  • Remove the skewers from the grill, plate them, and enjoy!

Notes

Choose fresh ingredients for the best flavor. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning. Leave space between ingredients for even cooking. Experiment with herbs and spices for variations.
