  • 4 pieces medium fresh peaches, ripe but firm Choose peaches that are firm and slightly ripe.
  • 2 tablespoons honey (preferably raw or local) Can use maple syrup as an alternative.
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream Other flavored ice creams like peach or hazelnut can be used.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Helps prevent sticking and aids in even cooking.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional) Adds an extra layer of flavor.
  • to taste pieces fresh mint leaves for garnish Optional garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F).
  • Wash the peaches and pat them dry. Cut each peach in half and remove the pit.
  • Lightly coat the cut sides of the peaches with olive oil.

Grilling

  • Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill and grill for about 4-6 minutes until grill marks appear.
  • Flip the peaches and grill for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the peaches from the grill and drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with ground cinnamon if desired.

Serving

  • Top each grilled peach half with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

Store ungrilled peaches in the fridge until ready to cook. Best enjoyed fresh right after grilling to maintain texture and flavor.
