Ingredients
  

  • 5 –6 ripe peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 –2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup optional
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
  • Cooking spray or light oil for trays

Instructions
 

  • Wash, peel (optional), and slice the peaches, removing pits.
  • Add peach slices to a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until completely smooth.
  • Add lemon juice and optional sweetener or spices.
  • Blend again until fully combined.
  • Line dehydrator trays with nonstick sheets or parchment and lightly grease.
  • Pour puree onto trays and spread evenly to about ⅛ inch thickness.
  • Set dehydrator to 135°F (57°C).
  • Dehydrate for 6–8 hours until dry but flexible.
  • Let cool completely, then peel and cut into strips.
  • Roll in parchment paper and store.

Notes

  • Use very ripe peaches for best natural sweetness.
  • Spread puree evenly to ensure proper drying.
  • Avoid thick layers to prevent sticky texture.
  • Continue dehydrating if the center remains wet.
