  • 4 cups Fresh Mangoes, peeled and chopped Use ripe mangoes for optimal sweetness.
  • 3/4 cup Sugar Adjust according to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Lime or Lemon Juice Fresh-squeezed for best flavor.

Seasonings

  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances sweetness.

Optional Add-ins

  • 1/4 cup Mint Leaves For a refreshing flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder For a spicy contrast.
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk For a creamier texture.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel the mangoes and remove the pit. Chop the flesh into smaller pieces for easier blending.
  • In your blender or food processor, combine the chopped mangoes, sugar, and lime juice. Blend until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  • Taste the mixture. If you like it sweeter, add a bit more sugar. If you want it tangier, squeeze in more lime juice.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Freezing

  • Pour the chilled mango mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  • If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.

Serving

  • Once fully frozen and creamy, serve in bowls or cones. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week. Allow to sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving for easier scooping.
