Ingredients

  • Wet ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Mix-ins:
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&M candies

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and M&M candies.
  • Scoop dough onto baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers remain soft.
  • Cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

  • Do not overmix the dough to keep cookies soft.
  • Chill dough for 30 minutes for better texture (optional).
  • Use room temperature ingredients for smoother mixing.
