- 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cook pasta and broccoli:

Add drained pasta and broccoli to the skillet. Pour in some reserved pasta water and toss to combine.
