Ingredients
  

  • Main Ingredients:
  • 12 oz short pasta bowtie, rigatoni, penne, or rotini
  • Water for boiling
  • 1 tablespoon salt for pasta water
  • Seasoning:
  • 2 –3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: red pepper flakes
  • Optional for Serving:
  • Marinara sauce
  • Ranch dressing
  • Alfredo sauce
  • Pesto
  • Cheese sauce

Instructions
 

  • Boil the Pasta
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add pasta and cook until al dente (1–2 minutes less than package directions).
  • Drain well and let steam-dry for 5 minutes.
  • Season the Pasta
  • In a large bowl, toss pasta with olive oil, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, and black pepper.
  • Mix until evenly coated.
  • Air Fryer Method (Crispiest Option)
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  • Place pasta in a single layer in the basket.
  • Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • Cook until golden brown and crispy.
  • Oven Method
  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread pasta in a single layer.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Bake until golden and crunchy.
  • Cool & Serve
  • Let pasta chips cool for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with extra Parmesan if desired.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dip.

Notes

  • Cook pasta only to al dente to ensure crispiness.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan or air fryer basket.
  • Pasta chips will continue to crisp slightly as they cool.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in air fryer at 375°F for 3–4 minutes to restore crunch.
  • Avoid microwaving as it makes them soft.
