Ingredients
  

For the Peach Puree

  • 4 pieces ripe peaches, pitted and sliced Fresh, ripe peaches for best flavor.

For the Tea

  • 4 cups water Used to brew the tea.
  • 4 pieces tea bags (black, green, or herbal) Choose your preferred type of tea.
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste) Adjust sweetness according to preference.

For Serving

  • to taste Ice cubes For serving chilled.
  • to taste Mint leaves (optional) For garnish.

Preparation

  • In a blender, puree the sliced peaches until smooth. You may reserve a few slices for garnish.
  • In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat, and steep the tea bags for 5-7 minutes based on your desired strength.
  • Remove the tea bags, and add the peach puree to the pot. Stir well, and add sugar to taste. Mix until fully dissolved.
  • Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour.

Serving

  • Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the chilled peach iced tea over the top.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and peach slices for extra flair.

Notes

Opt for ripe, juicy peaches for the best flavor. You can make this in advance, it tastes even better the next day! Store leftovers in an airtight pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
