Ingredients

Pizzadilla Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or your cheese of choice
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • ½ cup pizza sauce for dipping
  • as needed cooking spray or olive oil
  • as desired optional toppings like diced bell peppers or onions

Instructions

Preparation

  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • Lay one tortilla flat in the pan and sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over it. Add pepperoni slices and any additional toppings. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and place a second tortilla over the filling.

Cooking

  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden brown, then carefully flip the pizzadilla and cook for another 2-3 minutes until both sides are crispy and the cheese has melted.

Serving

  • Remove from the pan and let cool for a minute before slicing into wedges. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Don't overstuff your pizzadillas to prevent spills. Use moderate heat for even cooking. Experiment with different cheeses for variety.
