Dough and Filling

  • 1 each Pizza Dough (homemade or store-bought) You can use different types of dough for varied textures.
  • 1 cup Cheese (Mozzarella, Provolone, or Cheddar) Mozzarella is a classic choice.
  • 1 cup Toppings (Pepperoni, diced bell peppers, olives, cooked sausage) Feel free to customize based on preference.
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano Can add more herbs and spices to taste.
  • 1 each Egg for Egg Wash Mix with a little water before brushing.

Preparation

  • Preheat Your Oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about ¼ inch thick. Cut it into squares, about 4x4 inches.
  • In a bowl, mix your chosen toppings.
  • Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dough square. Be careful not to overfill.
  • Bring the corners of the dough together over the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
  • Place the sealed pizza bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they are puffed and golden brown.
  • Let your pizza bombs cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Avoid using ingredients with high moisture content. You can prep pizza bombs in advance and freeze before baking. They are kid-friendly and great for gatherings.
