  • 1 pound fresh ranch mushrooms Look for firm, dry mushrooms with no blemishes.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Add more for a stronger garlic flavor.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped Sprinkle on top before serving.

Preparation

  • Rinse the mushrooms under cold water and pat them dry. Remove stems if desired.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, until they are golden brown.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, salt, and pepper, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Don’t wash mushrooms excessively as they absorb water. Store them in a paper bag in the fridge for freshness.
