- 2 cups fresh strawberries washed, hulled, and chopped
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup lemon curd store-bought or homemade
- Fresh lemon zest for garnish (optional)
Place half of the chopped strawberries in a bowl.
Add granulated sugar and lightly mash to release juices.
Leave remaining strawberries chunky for texture.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
