For the cake

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream Use fresh, cold cream for the best results.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Adjust sweetness to your preference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Provides flavor depth.
  • 12-14 pieces graham crackers (or chocolate wafers) Use any cookie base you prefer.
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced Opt for ripe strawberries for best flavor.
  • Optional Extra strawberries for garnish Use for decoration when serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to beat until stiff peaks are achieved.

Layering

  • In a 9×13-inch pan, place a layer of graham crackers evenly at the bottom.
  • Spread a layer of the whipped cream mixture over the graham crackers.
  • Distribute a layer of fresh strawberry slices on top of the whipped cream.
  • Repeat layering with remaining ingredients, finishing with a top layer of whipped cream and a few strawberries for decoration.

Chilling

  • Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serving

  • Once chilled, slice into squares and serve, optionally with extra whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh strawberries. Chill the cake overnight for enhanced texture and flavor. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
