Prepare the Angel Food Cake

  • Preheat your oven as per the instructions on the box.

  • Whisk together until it thickens, about 2 minutes. Set aside.

  • In another bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with the granulated sugar.
  • Let them sit for about 10-15 minutes to draw out their juices.

Assemble the Trifle

  • Crumble a layer of the cooled angel food cake at the bottom of a trifle dish or individual serving glasses.
  • Add a layer of the vanilla pudding, followed by a layer of the sweetened strawberries.
  • Repeat the layering process until your dish is filled, finishing with whipped cream on top if desired.

Chill and Serve

  • Once assembled, refrigerate your trifle for at least one hour to meld the flavors.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Use ripe, fresh strawberries for best flavor. Clear glass dishes enhance presentation. Adding a splash of vanilla or almond extract to the pudding can boost flavor.
