Ingredients
  

  • Strawberry Layer
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Cream Filling
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Layers
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies savoiardi
  • Optional Garnish
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Mint leaves
  • White chocolate shavings

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Let sit for 15–20 minutes to release juices.
  • Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • In another bowl, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  • Quickly dip ladyfingers into the strawberry syrup.
  • Layer ladyfingers, cream, and strawberries in a dish.
  • Repeat layers, finishing with cream on top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Garnish and serve.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for best flavor.
  • Do not over-soak ladyfingers to avoid soggy texture.
  • Chill overnight for the best taste and structure.
  • Store in the refrigerator up to 3 days (not freezer-friendly).
