Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • ¾ cup Teriyaki sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 6-8 pieces Skewers Wooden or metal
  • Olive oil For brushing
  • Optional garnishes: sesame seeds and chopped green onions

Vegetable ingredients

  • Bell peppers, red onions, and zucchini Feel free to choose your preferred vegetables

Instructions

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, approximately 1-2 inches.
  • In a bowl, combine the chicken with teriyaki sauce and marinate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2-4 hours.
  • Chop the vegetables into similar sizes for even cooking.

Cooking

  • Alternate threading the marinated chicken and vegetables onto the skewers.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat; soak wooden skewers in water if using.
  • Brush the grill with olive oil and place the skewers on it. Grill for 10-15 minutes, turning frequently until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Once cooked, remove from the grill and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

Tip: Leave some space between each piece for even cooking. Consider oven-baking at 400°F for about 20 minutes if grilling is not an option.
