  • 4 cups watermelon, diced and frozen Use ripe watermelon for the best taste.
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Optional, for added flavor.
  • to taste mint leaves Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the watermelon into cubes, ensuring to remove any seeds.
  • Place the diced watermelon in a sealed bag and freeze for at least 2-3 hours.

Blending

  • Add the frozen watermelon cubes, ice, and lime juice (if using) to a blender.
  • Blend on high until you achieve a smooth consistency. Add cold water or more lime juice if needed.

Serving

  • Pour the slushie into glasses.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.

Notes

Experiment with flavors by adding other fruits or herbs. Store any leftovers in the freezer for up to 2 days.
