Ingredients

  • Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries washed and completely dried
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • Flavor Base
  • 1 –2 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pantry Staples & Tools
  • Parchment paper
  • Baking sheet
  • Toothpicks or forks

Instructions

  • Prep the Freezing Tray
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Mix the Yogurt
  • In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey (if using), and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness.
  • Prepare Strawberries
  • Ensure strawberries are completely dry and at room temperature.
  • Dip the Strawberries
  • Insert a toothpick into each strawberry. Dip into yogurt, coating about ¾ of the berry. Gently shake off excess.
  • Freeze
  • Place dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet. Freeze for 1½–2 hours, or until fully set.
  • Optional Toppings
  • Drizzle with melted dark chocolate or sprinkle with nuts. Return to freezer for 10 minutes to set.

Notes

  • Dry strawberries are essential for proper coating.
  • Greek yogurt prevents icy texture and sliding.
  • Light coating works best—thick layers may crack.
  • Frozen treats taste less sweet, so lightly sweeten yogurt.
